Daily Stand-up

While traditional Kanban doesn’t prescribe specific events, many Kanban teams leverage daily stand-ups as a regular communication method, similar to scrum teams. In fact, the Daily Stand-up format used in Lean-Scrum has been influenced by the format of traditional Kanban stand-up.

Similar to Lean-Scrum, during the daily stand-ups Lean-Kanban encourages teams to review the progress of user stories and other product backlog items on a Kanban board, encompassing design, discovery, and value creation activities.
